'Working together to find your way forward.'
Cumbria Psychologist offers time-limited psychological therapy that gets to the crux of your issues. It can be used therapeutically or for self development and exploration to get to know yourself better and develop better self-connection. The therapy offers a course in self awareness to develop skills that you can use after therapy to navigate life. Together we develop a bespoke handbook of tools that goes with you as you transition from therapy. The intervention offered is typically 16 sessions or less (maximum 24).
The nature of life is that problems will always arise and therapy does not cure this. Therapy can facilitate healing of 'old stuff,' help you to detect and prevent issues in the present and future, and help to rewire your nervous system to feel calmer.
If you would like to move towards a more intentional life then feel free to get in touch.
Please note: This is not a crisis or emergency service. If you are in crisis please contact 999 if it is an emergency or 111 for non emergency mental health support or contact your GP.
The services offered are not suitable for chronic/ severe mental health issues such as Psychosis, Personality Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, or Complex PTSD which usually require longer term therapy support.
